ABOUT THE ROLE
GroupTogether is an Australian startup making it ridiculously easy to organize online group greeting cards, gift collections, and eGift Cards. Trusted by over a million users and used at 5,000+ companies across the US including Disney, Zoom, and Bank of America, they were expanding into the American market and Austin was their first stop.
To kick off their US presence, they hosted a networking happy hour at Lovebirds in Austin, designed exclusively for EAs and Office Admins. The vibe they were going for: contemporary, fun, and sophisticated, professional but the kind of event you actually want to attend.
They needed event collateral that felt polished and on-brand without feeling corporate. I designed a greeting card, stickers, conversation cards, and a gratitude notebook, all built around the GroupTogether brand and made to feel like a warm, thoughtful experience from the moment guests arrived.
INSPIRATION
The creative direction was rooted in a moodboard full of playful sketch-style illustrations, minimal color palettes, and bold block lettering. The feel was approachable and a little whimsical, but still polished enough for a professional crowd.
INSPIRATION
From there I built out a custom illustration library to use across all the collateral. Since the event was made for EAs and Office Admins, the imagery leaned into their world: laptops, coffee, to-do lists, and the little things that make up a day of keeping everything and everyone running.
